Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis in Missouri. She performed with The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her a BA (with honors) in Theater and Communication. Upon moving to Los Angeles she quickly got involved in theatre arts, acting as well as choreographing over a dozen plays and musical productions like The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera as well as 7 lead roles at LA's award-winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly began to land roles in television and films while studying improvisations with The Groundlings. She has a unique voice, and her petite stature allows her to be able to play many characters. She was known to the general public for playing the part of the vile Samara as Naomi Watts, in The Ring 2. However Kelly is more well-known as the cheerful and bright receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Kelly was a character on an ongoing series on TV Land's The Exes which she was the role of a party-hopper as well as a paralegal in the day. Additionally, she played Alyssa's smart sexpert sister on ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the CW's No Tomorrow she portrayed the mother of a stressed suburban family. She's lent her soprano singing voice to a number of animated shows such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. The most recent time she was seen in NBC's smash comedy Superstore as the dim but lovable Cloud 9 worker. Together with her husband and two children, she enjoys living a peaceful life.
