Colson Baker, also known as Machine Gun Kelly, is known for his distinct style of rappers. Baker was born 22nd April 1990 in Houston Texas U.S. to a family with English Scottish and German ancestry is famous for his distinctive way of singing. His parents were missionaries and throughout his childhood, he traveled a lot along with them. James Colson Baker battled depression as well as joblessness. His mom Sonia Alane dumped him at age 9. Baker's father emigrated along with him to Denver and they lived at the home of his aunt. Baker suffered bullying from other youngsters in his community because of his poor living conditions. When he was in sixth grade, he began listening to rap. Colson Baker, better known by the name Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on the 22nd of April 1990. The music he creates blends modern hip-hop, alternative and rock. Prior to signing with Bad Boy Records Baker released four mixtapes between 2007 and 2010. With lyrics that were faster than a bullet train the Cleveland artist saw an explosive rise to fame in 2011. The rapper went from releasing self-released cassettes, to being signed to labels. After that, his career was on the rise as each albums charted inside the top 10 charts.
