Vinita Nair

Nair joined ABC News in July of 2004 and has since covered many subjects, including Jon Benet Ramsey's investigation, Jon Benet Ramsey investigation, and school shootings close to Bailey, Colorado. Nair was employed to ABC News in December 2007 as a correspondent/anchor for ABC News Now. For her work as a reporter, she offered live news and briefings to ABC's networks. Nair was co-anchor on World News Now and America This Morning on ABC from September 17, 2008, until February 18, 2011. On both shows she first teamed up with Jeremy Hubbard then later Rob Nelson. Nair made it clear to viewers on World News Now that she will not appear on World News Now after Friday 18th February. Also, it would be her final day on ABC News. Former KDVR Denver anchor Peggy Bunker was her direct successor. In each of the three segments on World News Now's broadcast on February 18, Nair was honored by former and current colleagues such like Jeremy Hubbard.
