After finishing his school years, Lars was drafted into the military and completed his military basic service for nine months in the Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards) An infantry regiment in the Danish army. After completing his military service, Lars decided that it was not what he wanted , and began to look for something different. He decided to study biology. Anette who was employed by the military for over a year, came home from a juggler's lesson to show him how well she could juggle within just three days. Lars was amazed and wanted to take it on. The result was that he dropped out of school and joined the juggler school. In this school, he was taught juggling and fire breathing among other things. After graduation from high school the student traveled across Europe with two buddies, performing on the streets of Paris, Munich, Moscow, Warsaw, and other cities. He was introduced to a kids' circus two more years later. In the circus, he also learned pantomimes for children's theater and street performances.
